CHLOE AND HALLE: TWO OF US MUSIC REVIEW

By Kaylee Tate
Relatively new artists Chloe and Halle, aged 17 and 18, were first recognized on YouTube by the Queen Bey herself. Chloe and Halle first posted covers of popular songs and the one that caught Beyoncé’s eye was the cover of their version of “Pretty Hurts.” Now Chole and Halle have released new covers of songs as well as EPs featuring R&B, folk, and a hint of rock and roll. Chole and Halle’s new mixtape is titled The Two of Us which is extremely unique, showing off both girls’ vocal abilities. This mixtape has an amazing blend of R&B, soul, and pop. As I have heard some of Chole and Halle in the past I had such high expectations to what their new mixtape would be like. When I first heard their new mixtape I was absolutely blown away. This mixtape will put you in a good mood and also make you want to get up and dance. I highly recommend this mixtape to everyone, but I especially recommend it to people who appreciate R&B, folk, and funk. IMG_5183
God tells us to witness to people about his love and to seek to inspire others by showing our love for him that shines within us. Chloe and Halle, even though both young, want to inspire young girls across the world showing them that if they work hard and believe in themselves they can accomplish anything. Not only are Chloe and Halle extremely well spoken, spiritual, and kind, but they genuinely care about their fans and want to spread love through their music to others. God asks us everyday to spread love and to also spread his gospel whenever we can. I really appreciate young artists such as Chloe and Halle that seek to be kind to everyone and show love by making music. IMG_5184
