Maranatha had the opportunity to host a blood drive on Tuesday, November 29th. Partnering with the Red Cross, students and faculty had the chance to give blood for those who need it. Lasting from 8am-2pm, there was a constant line of anxiously excited students and faculty. After going through a short interview for new blood donors, many students gave blood. After they were done they got snacks along with drinks and even pizza later in the day. This is because after donating so much blood, students often felt a little light-headed. Along with the snacks, students received a Red Cross shirt to show that they donated blood along with a sticker.
This was a very special way students could contribute to people in need.
